Campus Teaching Batch 7: Science Education Students Serve as Teacher Partners at Banjarharjo Elementary School

The Teaching Campus Program Batch 7 has officially started, allowing five students from various universities to become partner teachers at SD Negeri Banjarharjo, Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. One of them is Sabrina Nurochmah, a student of the Science Education Study Program from Yogyakarta State University. This program runs from February 26 to June 9, 2024. Through the Teaching Campus, students have the opportunity to become agents of change in Indonesian education. They not only become teacher partners, but also innovate in learning, develop creative literacy and numeracy learning strategies, and assist in the development of technology adaptation. In addition, this program also aims to hone the skills of leadership, problem solving, communication, analytical thinking, creativity, and innovation in participating students. The method used in the Teaching Campus Batch 7 activities is well structured. Students must attend a briefing before being deployed to the field, make initial observations at the placement school, create and implement a mandatory work program that has been determined, and conduct an evaluation and follow-up. It is hoped that this program will create a harmonious collaboration between students and teachers and students at SD Negeri Banjarharjo, and make a positive contribution to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
