.Pada hari Rabu, tanggal 22 Januari 2020 Jurdik IPA mengadakan workshop persiapan pendafataran akreditasi JSER dengan nara sumber Syarif Fajarudin, S.Pd staf jurnal dari PPs UNY.

Cooking oil or cooking oil waste is usually only disposed of by housewives and street food stalls selling various types of food, from small businesses. Whereas waste cooking oil waste is a type of waste that is quite polluting the environment, because it is non-polar so it cannot dissolve in polar water. So when thrown into the waters of used cooking oil it is difficult to lose.

Students of FMIPA UNY won 1st place in the 2016 Scientific in Action National Scientist in Action (SIA) FMIPA ITS 2016 Competition, which was held by BEM FMIPA of the Ten November Institute of Technology. The event was one of a series of great events of ITS FMIPA.

Students of FMIPA succeed in making an innovation that is making BIOPLASGA: Bioplastic Elephant Grass Cellulose (Pennisetum Purpureum) With the Addition of Chitosan and Castor Oil for Plasticizers. Research students in this Student Research Creativity Program are Hestiana (Science Education), Mahclisatul Qolbiyah, Yashinta Devi (Chemistry) with a supervisor Dr. Eli Rohaeti, M.Sc.

Mahasiswa FMIPA berhasil membuat inovasi yaitu membuat BIOPLASGA : Bioplastik Selulosa Rumput Gajah (Pennisetum Purpureum) Dengan Penambahan Kitosan Dan Minyak Biji Jarak Sebagai Pemlastik. Mahasiswa penelitian pada Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Penelitian ini yaitu Hestiana (Pendidikan IPA), Mahclisatul Qolbiyah, Yashinta Devi (Kimia) dengan dosen pembimbing Dr. Eli Rohaeti, M.Si.
