The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Yogyakarta State University (FMIPA UNY) held a Workshop on Evaluation and Development of Study Program Curriculum on Thursday-Friday, February 27-28, 2025. This activity was held in the 4th Floor Ballroom, Masters and Doctoral Building FMIPA UNY, and was attended by 123 participants consisting of faculty leaders, heads of administrative services, secretaries of administrative services, heads of study programs, study program administrators, and curriculum development team lecturers from each study program.

Science Education Study Program (S1) actively participated in this activity. The curriculum development team of the Science Education S1 Study Program was fully present and involved in various important sessions, ranging from evaluating the curriculum based on graduate learning outcomes (CPL), reviewing the profile of graduates according to the needs of the world of work, to preparing a map of course learning outcomes (CPMK). In the opening session, the Dean of FMIPA UNY conveyed the importance of this activity as part of an ongoing effort to maintain the relevance and quality of the curriculum with the development of science, technology, and the needs of society. He emphasized that curriculum development is not only limited to document revision, but also reflects the commitment of study programs in producing competent and adaptive graduates in the era of disruption. The workshop presented speakers from academia and higher education practitioners, who shared insights on education curriculum trends.
