The UNY Mengajar Team is back with an educational innovation through the Numeracy Program at SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid. This program is designed to improve students' ability to think logically, solve problems, and understand numerical data presented in the form of numbers and graphs. Two numeracy work programs have been successfully implemented, namely "Tangga Satuan" for grade 7 students and "Phon Numerasi" for grade 8 students.

The "Tangga Satuan" program aims to make it easier for grade 7 students to understand the concept of unit conversion, which is often a challenge in learning mathematics. With a visual and interactive approach, this program helps students learn units of measurement more easily and enjoyably.

Meanwhile, the "Phon Numerasi" program implemented in grade 8 emphasizes students' ability to present data through graphs. As a follow-up to the practicum on the circulatory system, students are invited to make graphs based on their observations. This program not only hones numeracy skills, but also improves their understanding of science material visually.

With the implementation of these two numeracy programs, it is hoped that students of SMP N 1 Mungkid will become more accustomed to thinking critically and logically in dealing with numerical problems, as well as having the skills to interpret information in the form of numbers and graphs.
