Yogyakarta, July 7, 2025 — The Undergraduate Science Education Program at FMIPA UNY held an online Curriculum 2025 Socialization session, attended by over 250 active students. The event was facilitated by the Program Coordinator and the Secretary of the Science Education Department, offering comprehensive insight into the new curriculum design. Curriculum 2025 is crafted to respond to 21st-century challenges, the Industrial Revolution 5.0, and Society 5.0 by emphasizing the integration of science, technology, and local potential. This approach not only equips students with conceptual knowledge but also enhances critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and digital technology literacy in science education contexts. This session marks the first step in implementing the new curriculum starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, with the aim of producing graduates who are globally competitive, contextually aware, and committed to sustainable development through science education.
