Yogyakarta, August 23, 2025 – The Science Education Student Association (HIMA IPA) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, through its Reasoning Division, successfully held DIKSI 2025 (Scientific Discussion) with the theme “SPEKTAKULER: Spirit of Creativity for Excellent Students in Literacy and Research Exploration.” The event aimed to equip Science Education students with insights and skills to prepare for the National Student Creativity Program (PKM DIKTI). Conducted online via Zoom Meeting, DIKSI 2025 was attended by 123 participants with Ivathuszalma, S.Si. as the keynote speaker. The program began with an opening session by the MC, followed by the national anthem Indonesia Raya and HIMA IPA March. Opening remarks were delivered by the Event Chairperson, HIMA IPA Chairperson, and the Faculty Advisor before proceeding to the main presentation. In her session, the speaker shared insights on research literacy, idea exploration techniques, and creative proposal writing strategies for PKM. An engaging Q&A session followed, with two main questions from participants answered thoroughly by the speaker. The event continued with a material recap, distribution of the PKM interest form link, and an interactive quiz session via Quizizz. To conclude, participants were tasked with creating a material summary to be submitted by August 30, 2025, as part of their attendance requirement. Event Chairperson Ocha Luthfi Kharisma expressed gratitude: “Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. We hope DIKSI will broaden insights, ignite research enthusiasm, and better prepare Science Education students of FMIPA UNY for scientific work, especially in the PKM program.”
