Yogyakarta, August 31, 2025 – The Science Education Student Association (HIMA IPA), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, successfully organized the Laboratory Study (SL) 2025. This activity was part of the Scientific Study and Student Potential Development Program (SIPMA) 2025 under the theme “Building Excellent Young Scientists through Exploration, Innovation, and Creation with SIPMA 2025.” Held at the FMIPA Seminar Room, Canteen, and Pavilion, the event was attended by 95 out of 99 new Science Education students. The program began with an opening session, singing of Indonesia Raya, the HIMA IPA March, and the SIPMA March, followed by remarks from the HIMA IPA supervisor Rizki Arumningtyas, M.Pd., HIMA IPA 2025 President Naufal Nadzif Kafalik, and Committee Chair Muhammad Dzikri Saputra.

The main agenda included three presentation sessions. The first, Financial Literacy and Student Well-being, was delivered by Rizki Arumningtyas, M.Pd., moderated by Stephani Dwi Astuti. The second, Laboratory Report Writing, was presented by Kanisa Nuranimasari Pane with moderator Lintang Elcie, featuring an interactive quiz. The final session was conducted by SIPMA 2025’s Medical Division, focusing on Laboratory Health and Safety. Following the presentations, students joined simple laboratory practices in 12 groups, with assignments in the form of laboratory reports and demonstration videos. This activity aimed to familiarize new students with academic culture, particularly laboratory learning, while equipping them with essential skills for their studies in Science Education.
