HIMA IPA FMIPA UNY Welcomes HIMA IPA and Environment UNNES in KURMA#1 Program

The Science Education Study Program, FMIPA Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), supported the implementation of the Student Organization Visit Program (KURMA#1) organized by HIMA IPA FMIPA UNY in collaboration with HIMA IPA and Environment of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The event was held offline on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Meeting Room 3, FMIPA UNY. KURMA#1 served as a strategic platform to strengthen relationships among student organizations, expand networking opportunities, and provide a space for sharing experiences in organizational management. Through this program, both organizations were expected to learn from each other, exchange best practices, and open opportunities for future collaborations.

The event began with participant registration and preparation sessions, followed by the opening ceremony, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, the UNY Hymn, and the UNNES March. The program also featured welcoming remarks from the presidents of both student organizations and their faculty advisors. On this occasion, HIMA IPA FMIPA UNY was represented by Mrs. Rita Bekti Utami, M.Pd., as the HIMA advisor for 2026, while Mr. Amnan Haris, S.Si., M.Ling., delivered remarks on behalf of HIMA IPA and Environment UNNES.

The event continued with organization profile presentations by each student organization, delivered by the organization leaders and executive members. The presentations provided insights into organizational structures, flagship programs, organizational culture, and various innovative activities. The discussion sessions were lively and interactive through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), experience-sharing sessions, and active exchanges of ideas and questions among participants from both institutions. Participants also showed great enthusiasm during the ice-breaking session, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. Through this activity, the Science Education Study Program of FMIPA UNY hopes that the relationship between student organizations will continue to grow and foster productive, innovative, and impactful collaborations for future student and organizational development.
