On September 25-26, 2024, 3rd semester students of Science Education FMIPA UNY had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture by an education practitioner, Mr. Timbul Pardede, MIDT from SEAMEO SEAMOLEC. The lecture, which took place in Meeting Room 2 FMIPA UNY, was entitled "Microlearning: The Future of Post-Pandemic Teaching and Learning" with the main theme "Maximize Understanding, Minimize Time Spent."

On Wednesday-Thursday, September 25-26, 2024, 5th semester students of the Science Education Study Program at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) got a valuable opportunity through a lecture given by a teaching practitioner, Mr. Dona Octanary, M.Pd. from SEAMEO SEAMOLEC. This lecture was held in Meeting Room 3, FMIPA UNY, with the main focus on the development of learning videos.

Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memperkuat kapasitas dan keahlian dosen dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital, sekaligus mempersiapkan mereka dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada 16-18 Oktober 2024 di Hotel Loman Park, Yogyakarta, ini menjadi bagian penting dalam pengembangan kualitas laboratorium pendidikan IPA di UNY.

Chief of Science Education Laboratory and Lecturer of FMIPA UNY Participate in Laboratory Supervisor Certification, Improve Laboratory Management Competence

In order to improve laboratory management competence, two lecturers and laboratory heads from the Science Education Study Program, FMIPA, Yogyakarta State University, Dr. Maryati and Didik Setyawarno, participated in training and certification as Laboratory Supervisors. The activity, which took place on October 16-18, 2024 at the Loman Park Hotel, Yogyakarta, is an important part of developing the quality of science education laboratories at UNY.

Numeracy Program: UNY Mengajar Team Innovation at SMP N 1 Mungkid Improves Students' Logical Thinking Skills

The UNY Mengajar Team is back with an educational innovation through the Numeracy Program at SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid. This program is designed to improve students' ability to think logically, solve problems, and understand numerical data presented in the form of numbers and graphs. Two numeracy work programs have been successfully implemented, namely "Tangga Satuan" for grade 7 students and "Phon Numerasi" for grade 8 students.
